He said: “I’m delighted to have received the bronze award on behalf of the Benson group.
“I feel passionately about helping people to transform their lives by losing weight in the same way that I did when I lost two-and-a-half stone with Slimming World.
“Losing weight made me feel happier and healthier and gave me so much more confidence and I became a consultant because I wanted to share that feeling.”
The Benson group is "dedicated to achieving healthy weight loss long-term through diet and lifestyle changes".
In the month of October, the 109 members of the group lost a total of 46 stone.

Mr Noble said: “This award belongs to the Benson group’s members.
"They’re the ones who make the group the success that it is, with their fabulous commitment, the wonderful support they give each other every week, and, obviously, their impressive weight losses.”
He highlighted the case of Carol, a Wallingford resident and group member whose surname has not been disclosed, who went from a size 30 to a size 14 with the support of the Benson consultants, describing the weight loss as “life changing”.
“Her weight loss has taken her from being a very insecure person to being a more confident, outgoing person. She used to always hear herself saying ‘I can’t’ and now she hears ‘I can and I will’,” he explained.

The number of people living with obesity is at a record level and is linked to increased risk of serious health conditions like type two diabetes, heart disease, strokes and several types of cancer.
Mr Noble reported that the influence of Slimming World reaches beyond its immediate members, 75 per cent of service users reporting that they have influenced their family and friends to make healthier food choices
Slimming World was founded in 1969 and is the UK and Ireland’s leading weight loss programme, supporting hundreds of thousands of service users across the country.
The Benson group meets every Thursday at either 5.30pm or 7.30pm at the Millstream Day Centre and welcomes new members.
