The Oxford Green Fair is set to return for its 43rd year.

Taking place at Oxford Town Hall, this year's fair will be held on Sunday, December 1, from 10.30am to 4pm.

The event will be opened by West Papua Independence leader Benny Wenda to mark West Papuan Independence Day - which falls on the same date.

The fair will feature nearly 70 stall-holders, including Friends of the Earth, British Hedgehog Preservation Society, and a range of local enterprises such as JJ Word Art and Prehistoric Love.

Last year, the fair attracted nearly 1,000 visitors.

The organisers hope for a similar turnout this year.

The fair provides an opportunity to find ethical Christmas gifts, support local artists and crafts, and engage with like-minded people.

A spokesperson for the event said: "This year's Oxford Green Fair will be the place to be."

The event will run from 10.30am to 4pm.
