The Oxfordshire nuke hotspot to avoid should a nuclear war break out has been revealed.
A new video on social media has identified the key spots across the UK where nuclear bombs would most likely be dropped and one area is withing our county.
The viral clip was posted by Geo Discovery on TikTok and has garnered as many as 38,000 likes and over 3,000 comments.
“If a nuclear war breaks out between the United Kingdom and Russia and you don’t want to see god so soon, then stay away from these places,” begins the video.

It then goes onto identify several spots where nuclear warfare would likely break out including London and Scotland’s Faslane which is home to the UK’s nuclear submarines.
Also mentioned in the list along with RAF Fylingdales in North Yorkshire and RAF Menwith Hill base near Harrogate is Oxfordshire’s RAF Brize Norton located close to Carterton.
“Lastly avoid the area around RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire which is the largest station of the RAF and a key air transport hub,
“Damaging this would disrupt the UK’s ability to conduct air operations effectively.”

The station is the base for air transport, air-to-air refuelling and military parachuting, with the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, Airbus A400M Atlas and Airbus Voyager operating from the station.
Major infrastructure redevelopment began in 2010 following the closure of RAF Lyneham in 2012 which made Brize Norton the sole air point of embarkation for British troops.
