We've taken a look back through the Oxford Mail archive to find pictures of artists at work over the years in Oxfordshire.
From Banbury to Wantage, White Horse Hill to Wittenham, painters, drawers and more have been producing fantastic artworks to inspire and delight residents.
They weren't all brush-on-canvas artists either with a picture of a silk painter at an exhibition of her work featuring a sculpture show of angels and nymphs, and even a portrait painter to the Queen.

We even found two different pictures of sign painters, one of inns, and one of pubs, from 1991 and 1989 respectively.
