Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been taking photos which were inspired by the theme of remembrance.

Each week club members are given a theme and then they post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

The preparations for Remembrance Sunday prompted plenty of colourful photos of poppies and other tributes, at war memorials and different locations around the county.

It was difficult to choose a winner for photo of the week but in the end we selected this image from Marie-Claire Parker, which was taken at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock.

Once club members post their photos on the club’s Facebook page, a selection are featured in the Oxford Mail and in The Oxford Times and online.
