An Oxfordshire baker has had a Great British Bake Off nightmare after her swimming pool cake went wrong.
Sophie from the county sent in her cake to the Great British Bake Off team this week but things took a turn when the fondant leaked.
The cake originally depicted a swimming pool with an ongoing race between four swimmers but the red from the lanes leaked into the blue water.
This led to what looked like a bloodbath as the colours mixed leading to the Great British Bake Off team to share the shocking photos on social media.

The humorous post from the Great British Bake Off on X said: “Someone call a lifeguard!
“This cake was going swimmingly well until the fondant leaked and became a shark attack.
