An Oxfordshire woman has been arrested after “spending [the] evening drinking rum” before getting behind the wheel of a car.
The incident is said to have happened on Thursday evening in Culham near Abingdon as a member of the public alerted the police to “a poor standard of driving” from the woman.
Officers say they arrived and found the female driver was not only a "provisional licence holder with no supervisor present" but also that "she had been drinking".
Cans of Dead Man’s Finger rum cocktails and mixers were allegedly found in the vehicle and the woman admitted to spending the evening drinking rum.

“The female driving the vehicle was a provisional licence holder with no supervisor present. She then admitted to having spent the evening driving rum.
