A popular Oxford café has been awarded with a prestigious national award.
The Art Café in the city centre is one of the busiest venues locally with its central location outside the Westgate shopping centre.
Having first opened in 2009, the location has become one of the most popular spots to grab some food and a coffee in oxford.
It has now been recognised by the Good Food Awards for 2024/25, winning a coveted Blue Ribbon due to it high customer satisfaction.

A spokesperson for the Good Food Awards said: “Our Good Food Awards recognise the hard-working teams who strive for excellence within their field.
“Chosen for their food quality, service and value, our prestigious Blue Ribbon is bestowed upon those with high customer ratings/votes and is known as the Blue Ribbon for Delicious Dishes.”
Giovanna Claudino took over The Art Cafe in 2021 after becoming a partner in the business alongside her parents who founded the spot in 2009.
The business is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year and opened a new location in Cheltenham back in May.

It was also awarded a five-out-of-five food hygiene score earlier this year after previously receiving a two-out-of-five.
“The very big renovation also included three brand new fridges and this has helped the score rise,” said Giovanna at the time.
“We have a good team that has been there a very long time and I also have the support of my parents so I am very happy here.”
