Concerns have been raised over parking on a scheme for nine new homes in an Oxfordshire town.
RS Developments wants to build the homes at Reedmace Road in Banbury.
An outline scheme was permitted last year, with a reserved matter application now submitted for layout, scale, appearance, means of access and landscaping.
No comments from members of the public have been submitted, but Oxfordshire County Council's highways department submitted an objection.
Ben Mundy, from the highways authority, said: “Oxfordshire County Council (OCC), as the local highways authority, notify the district planning authority that they object to the granting of planning permission. This is pending further revision.

“Three bedroom town dwellings are permitted to have up to two vehicle parking spaces. Therefore, the parking provision must be amended in order to conform to the guidance set out within OCC’s adopted parking standards.
“The garages are considered a suitable form of cycle parking.
“The title on the REM would suggest that the access has not previously been approved under the previous outline submission.”
Banbury Town Council's planning committee raised no objections.
The planning statement on the outline application said: “While the development will inevitably change the appearance of the site, it will result in minimal visual impact given that the site is within an existing residential area.
"The proposal will not appear as a visually obtrusive in the landscape.
“The design of the dwellings can be controlled by the council at reserved matters stage to ensure fitting enhancement is achieved.”
