Hygiene inspectors say that 'major improvement' is needed at a kebab shop near Oxford.
Kidlington Kebab House on Oxford Road in Kidlington serves a variety of takeaway meals including kebabs, burgers and pizzas.
The premises were visited by Cherwell District Council’s Environmental Health team on Thursday, October 3.
Stating that 'major improvement' was required at the venue, a score of one-out-of-five was handed to the business.

One key issue outlined in the report was the management of food safety which itself was regarded as requiring 'major improvement'.
This refers to having a system or checks in place to ensure that the food sold or served is safe to eat as well as evidence that staff know about food safety.
It also concerns whether the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
The cleanliness and condition of the facilities and the building also raised questions for the inspector, with this section being branded as 'improvement necessary'.
This includes having an appropriate layout, ventilation, hand washing facilities and pest control to enable good food hygiene.

Despite the rest of the problems, Kidlington Kebab House’s hygienic food handling was regarded as being of a 'generally satisfactory' standard.
This refers to the preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage of the food served and sold onsite.
The business has since been taken over by new owner Ibrahim Sisman and renamed Kidlington Kebabs.
“We are waiting for a reinspection as we just took over the business,” he said.
“It was structural problems as the building needed redecorating but we have sorted this now.
“It had nothing to do with the hygiene of the food.”
