Residents in Oxford and Bicester will soon have the chance to have their say on the East West Rail project.
The 10-week non-statutory consultation, announced the day after the Budget, will run from November 14 until January 24, 2025.
East West Rail said this will offer communities along the route a "crucial" opportunity to have their say on the latest plans and "shape the future design of the railway".

As well as electrification, the consultation will provide latest designs and information on East West Rail.
This includes Oxford Station, Oxford Parkway and Bicester Village; level crossings, including proposals for London Road in Bicester; essential upgrades to the existing line between Oxford and Bedford; as well as proposed service patterns .
Residents can have their say in Oxford at Oxford Town Hall, St Aldate's, on Tuesday, November 19 from 2pm until 7pm.
In Bicester, there will be a consultation at John Paul II Centre, The Causeway, on Thursday, November 21 from 2pm until 7pm.

For those unable to attend in person, all consultation materials will be available online, with multiple ways to provide feedback.
The consultation, originally planned for summer 2024, was rescheduled due to the General Election.
This new timeframe covers the Christmas and New Year holiday period, but to ensure ensures that communities have ample opportunity to engage with the project and shape its development, the consultation period runs for an additional two weeks and concludes on January 24.
