A woman has been left with a bruised face after a man assaulted her before snatching her phone and bank cards.
The attack happened at bus stop on Cowley Road near Magdalen Road in Oxford between 7.20am and 7.40am yesterday (November 11).
The woman did not require hospital treatment.
The offender is described as a white man in his early 40s, approximately 6ft tall, and of broad build.
He had grey hair and a black and grey beard. Police say he was wearing a grey tracksuit.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Michael Hopcroft, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward, particularly to those who were on a passing bus at the time of the incident."
