A pub near Wallingford has “closed long term” and has been listed on the chain owner’s site as "seeking a new tenant".
The Home Sweet Home, a large traditional pub in the rural hamlet of Roke, closed last month without notice.
It has now been listed on Wadworth, an independent brewer and pub company which owns more than 140 establishments across the south and west of England.

The pub, which is extremely well reviewed on both Google, with 4.8 stars, and customer feedback website Tripadvisor, with 4.5, was a popular spot and even won an AA award for "culinary excellence".
It is described in the listing as a “rambling listed building featuring oak beams and open wood fires”, with a rustic charm and outdoor tables making it an “ideal summer drinking spot.”
Wadworth has been approached for comment on the listing.
