A motorcyclist has died after he crashed into the back of a car on a key road near Oxfordshire on Monday.
A black Suzuki motorcycle crashed into the back of a black Mazda 6 car travelling in the same direction on the southbound A5 Watling Street, between Potterspury and Old Stratford, in Northamptonshire.
The man, aged in his 40s, fell off the motorcycle and died at the scene, said police.

It happened at around 1.40pm yesterday (Monday, November 11).

Police investigators are now appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or who has information about it including relevant dash-cam footage, to get in touch.
Anyone with information is asked to email CollisionAppeals@northants.police.uk or call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615, or contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
Those with information should quote the incident number 24000673189 when passing on any information to make sure it gets to the right person as quickly as possible.
