Buses will run between Oxford and Heathrow and Gatwick airports over the festive period.

Oxford Bus Company will operate a special service to Heathrow on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.

Alongside Thames Travel, it will also operate a number of special local bus timetables over the festive period.

On Christmas Eve, both operators will run a Saturday timetable with an early finish on most routes.

Services 3X, 41, 45, 63, 91, 92, 95, and ST2 will follow a Monday to Friday timetable, while services ST1 and night bus services N280, N400, NX1, NX2, NX40, NU1, and NU5 will not operate.

On Boxing Day, buses will follow special timetables on services 3, 3A, 5, 6, 8, 15, 35, 300, 400, X2, and X40, while other routes will also be subject to change.

Matchday Football Special services will also operate for Oxford United's home match against Cardiff City on December 26.

Between December 27 and 30, services will operate according to a combination of Monday to Friday and weekend timetables.

On New Year's Eve, services 41, 45, 63, 91, 92, and 95 will run to a Monday to Friday timetable.

Services 3X, ST1, ST2, and night bus services will not operate, and all other services will follow a Saturday timetable, but with an early finish.

All services on New Year's Day will operate according to special timetables before normal operation of all bus and coach services will resume on January 2.

The Gloucester Green Travel Shop and High Street Visitor Information Point in Oxford will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

A normal airline timetable will be in place on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, but with an early finish.

A normal service with a late start will operate on December 27, and normal timetables will be in place on December 28 and 29.

No local bus services will operate on Christmas Day.
