The cause of death of an Oxford PhD student has been confirmed at an inquest opening.
Cal Shearer, of Leckford Road in Jericho, was found dead at his home on October 30.
An inquest was opened into the 25-year-old's death by area coroner Nicholas Graham on November 7 at Oxford Coroner's Court.

The inquest heard they were a PhD student in neuroscience.
Following a post-mortem, a cause of death was given as hanging.
A full inquest will be held at Oxford Coroner's Court on March 10 next year at 2pm.
