A man in his 90s died after a stab wound to his chest, an inquest opening held in Oxford has heard.
John Shapley, of Trinity Road, Chipping Norton, was found dead at his home on Sunday, October 20.
An inquest was opened into the 92-year-old's death by area coroner Nicholas Graham at Oxford Coroner's Court on November 7.

The inquest heard that the retired marketing director was found by police officers at his address.
A post-mortem gave his cause of death as a self-inflicted stab wound to the heart.
A full inquest will be held at Oxford Coroner's Court on February 10 next year at 11.30am.
