The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:


JASON DICKENS, 47, of Swan Lane, Marsh Gibbon, pleaded guilty to drug driving a Renault Scenic in Bicester Road, Launton, on July 31 this year. He must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £194 and a fine of £484. Dickens was also banned from driving for 12 months. 

JOANNE TAYLER, 61, of Lower Boddington Road, Claydon, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Main Road, Claydon, on September 14 this year. Tayler must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £184 and a fine of £461. She was also banned from driving for 25 months, but this can be reduced by 25 weeks if a course is completed by April 6 2026. 

VALINTIN RICHARD, 30, of Great West Road, Hounslow, pleaded guilty to stealing clothes valued at £1408.50 from TK Maxx in Oxford on October 27. He must pay costs of £85. He was also handed a community order and was banned from every TK Maxx in the county until October 28 2025. He must also complete 120 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. 

TIMOTHY COOK, 66, of Crowell Road, Kington Blount, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes CLC without insurance or a correct licence on the A40 West Wycombe Road on February 7. He was fined £249 and was given six penalty points. 

MAYA BUZALJKO, 31, of Market Place, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer, outraging public decency and using racist language in Falmouth on November 19 last year. She was handed a community order and must complete alcohol rehabilitation for nine months and metal health rehabilitation for six months. She must also comply with the orders of the responsible officer to attend appointments for a maximum of 10 days and pay £100 compensation. 
 
JOSHUA PAIN, 29, of Dove Green, Bicester, was found guilty of damaging an Iphone 11 on February 11 this year. He must pay costs of £300, a victim surcharge of £240 and a fine of £600. 

CLAUDIU AMARTEI, 45, of Chestnut Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Vauxhall Vivaro on Letchmere Close, Tackley, on June 1 this year. He also pleaded guilty to another count of drink driving and driving without a licence on October 8 this year. He was handed a prison sentence of 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months. He must also complete alcohol rehabilitation for nine months and will have to wear an electronic tag until January 29 next year. He must also attend appointments as instructed for a maximum of 12 days. He was also banned from driving for four years. He must also pay costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £154.
