A new creation from Wantage ‘Knitsy’, an unknown crafter who decorates the Oxfordshire town with impressive wool projects, has appeared for Remembrance Day.
The knitted decoration is sat on top of Mill Street post box, which has been the site of many of the anonymous crafter’s designs.
This time, the theme is based around Remembrance Day, with a soldier and horse knitted in dark green, surrounded by a ring of red poppies.

Commenters on an online public post were amazed by the talent of the artist.
One said: “Such talent, I’m sure when I get to see this on my dog walk it will bring a tear to my eye.”
Previous projects by the mysterious ‘Knitsy’ have included hands holding up a planet for Earth Day, an upside-down ice cream cone in the summer, and floral display in the Spring.
