The non quoting listing states that bidders should submit full proposals and a business plan, and in addition to financial criteria “proposals will be evaluated in terms of the quality of the use of the site,” such as social value and visitor experience.
The listing says: “We are looking for a landmark tenant with a use that fits well with the heritage of the site in the setting of the park.”
The site is more than 4,000 sq. ft and is accessible from Cheney Lane, close to Headington town and about two miles west of Oxford city centre.
Its four buildings provide a combination of office, storage and production space, as well as car parking and outside seating, which the distillery used as a visitor centre, cafe and bar.
