A bus company has issued a statement after a man died following a fall on a bus in Oxford city centre.
The man in his 30s died last Thursday (October 31) after sustaining serious injuries in a fall on an Oxford Bus Company bus in Castle Street near Westgate on October 26.
Oxford Bus Company said it is continuing to assist police with inquiries into the "tragic" incident and is providing wellbeing support to the driver.
A spokesperson for Oxford Bus Company said: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the deceased’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
“We are continuing to assist Thames Valley Police with their inquiries into this tragic incident and we are providing wellbeing support to our driver.”
