Police in Oxfordshire have bumped into TV celebrity Timmy Mallett while on patrol.
Thames Valley Police officers bumped into the 1980s and 1990s star in Henley during a rural patrol of the community this morning (Wednesday, November 6).
The 69-year-old presenter from Marple is known for his striking visual style including both colourful glasses and shirts.
Usually equipped with a giant pink foam mallet, he is also well known for his "utterly brilliant" catchphrase.

A photo of the two police officers with Timmy Mallet and his bicycle was posted on Thames Valley Police’s South Oxon and Vale of White Horse’s Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon.
The social media post from the force said: “Whilst out on patrol in the rural community this morning, PC Oliver and PC Taylor from the Henley Neighbourhood Team bumped into this legend from the 80's and 90's.
“Have an utterly brilliant day.”
