Thirteen projects offering help to north Oxfordshire residents struggling to pay for essentials are set to receive £64,000 of support.
At a meeting on Monday, November 4, Cherwell District Council's executive committed the funds to help the projects throughout 2024-2025.
They will provide measures to help with staying warm, food vouchers, energy-saving equipment, and period products.
Councillor Rob Pattenden, portfolio holder for healthy communities, said: "Organisations such as food banks, warm spaces, and community groups are on the front line of the cost of living crisis. They know what works, and we're listening to them.
"With our backing, they'll have a range of tools at their disposal, from food vouchers to draught excluders, to make a difference to our most vulnerable residents.
"As winter approaches, it's the perfect time to renew our investment in targeted, impactful measures that empower our partners across the district."
The executive also heard about the impact of Cherwell's cost of living support over the past year, which has seen 25 community groups and 4,200 households benefit from food grants.
Food grants and vouchers will continue throughout the winter and into 2025.
The council is also funding a fuel support programme, electric blanket replacements for older people, and meals for young people as part of its holiday activity programmes, and it will continue to support the district's Warm Welcome network.
