The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:
LUKE SHIRLEY, 24, of Elms Drive, Marston, pleaded guilty to possessing a class B drug, namely cannabis / cannabis resin in Oxford on June 5 this year. An order was made for the drugs to be destroyed and he must pay costs of £85 and a fine of £166.
LEIGH-ANN BEERMAN, 27, of Mallard Drive, Witney, was found guilty of failing to give information on the identity of the driver of a Kia, in September last year in Banbury, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Beerman must pay costs of £150, a victim surcharge of £120 and a fine of £300. Her driving record was also endorsed with six penalty points.
SEAMUS DEVLIN, 31, of Shropshire Court, Milton Keynes, pleaded guilty to driving a Range Rover without insurance, while disqualified and under the influence of cocaine in Skegness on January 28 2021. He was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £200.
MATTHEW COTTERILL, 39, of West Holmes Place, Broxburn, was found guilty of drink driving in a Mercedes Benz E200 in Bucknell Road, Bicester, on September 2 last year. He was banned from driving for 36 months, which can be reduced by 36 weeks if a course is completed by December 17 2026. He must also pay costs of £350, a victim surcharge of £72 and a fine of £180.
MADDISON BRAMWELL, 23, of Northcourt Mews, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to causing damage to a glass door and windows to the value of £1,080 in Abingdon on January 9 this year. Bramwell must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £48, a fine of £120 and compensation of £1,080.
KENZIE COPPER, 19, of Farmer Place, Marston, pleaded guilty to stealing a number of bank cards and ID cards and using a bank card in Oxford on September 14 last year. He also pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour on October 1 last year. He was found guilty of possessing a class B drug, namely cannabis on September 14 last year and another count of using threatening behaviour on October 1 last year. He was given a community order and was ordered to not enter Oxford city centre between the hours of 10pm and 6am until January 28 next year. He must also complete 25 days of a rehabilitation activity and 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. An order was also made for the cannabis to be destroyed and he must pay costs of £200.
