Bonfire night went off with a bang as thousands of people headed out to watch fireworks displays over the weekend.
Events were held in Ducklington, Standlake Village Hall and Standlake Arena, Long Hanborough and at North Leigh Football club as well as a host of villages.
Villagers turned up in their hundreds for the annual event in Bampton, held early on October 26, with lots of very excited children enjoying candy floss, burgers, hotdogs and a fairground ride before the fireworks had even started.
Witney band The Village Beats provided the music and a bar and mulled wine stalls kept the adults in the pre-festive spirit.
The fantastic event was once again organised by the local charity SPAJERS (Society for the Preservation of Ancient Junketing).

Ian Watson, SPAJERS Treasurer and organiser of the event, said: “It was a truly joyous community occasion.
"A lovely friendly and upbeat atmosphere, where everyone seemed to be having a really terrific time.
"My thanks to the many volunteers and committee members who helped make the night so special.”
The money raised will go towards providing a Christmas Box for many of the pensioners in the village.
A cracking fireworks display was also put on by Minster Mill in Minster Lovell last night (October 3) while hundreds enjoyed the mild weather and the awesome display at Standlake Village Hall on Saturday.
At Standlake Arena a day's banger racing ended with a massive bonfire and a bumper number of entrants in the competition to create a guy.
