Abingdon Traditional Craft Fair is a modern-day tradition in the ancient Abbey Buildings.

The three-day show featuring about 70 stalls started on Friday and finished on Sunday.

The event dates back to the 1970s - about 50 years of raising money for the upkeep of the medieval buildings in which it is held.

They are the only remaining legacy from the once-famous Abbey dismantled by Henry VIII in about 1536.

The fair is organised with the help of Oxfordshire Craft Guild.

The guild's website said: "When you support our craftworkers you are helping British crafts survive and thrive, and the event pays towards the upkeep of the beautiful Abbey Buildings in which it is held.

"The 2022 event raised £5,504 for the Abbey Buildings which is not including sales of Abbey Buildings merchandise."
