The cause of death of a Banbury man has been confirmed by a coroner.
An inquest has opened into the death of Shayne Jarvis-Bott, of Prescott Avenue, on October 19.
The inquest heard that the 37-year-old was found 'hanging'.
CPR was started and he was transferred to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, but he did not regain consciousness.

The inquest was opened by senior coroner Darren Salter at Oxford Coroner's Court on October 30.
The cause of death was given as hypoxic brain injury due to asphyxiation by hanging.
The coroner set a date for the full inquest to be held on March 3 next year at 11.45am at Oxford Coroner's Court.
