An inquest has opened after an Oxfordshire pensioner was found unconscious in a field.
Fredrick Maltby, of Elsfield, near Oxford, died on October 22 at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
An inquest was opened into the 82-year-old's death by senior coroner Darren Salter at Oxford Coroner's Court on Wednesday, October 30.

The inquest heard that he was taken to hospital after he was found unconscious in a field.
His causes of death were given as a stroke and a neck of femur fracture.
A full inquest will be held at Oxford Coroner's Court on Friday, November 29 at 11am.
