These actors and actresses were Streets Ahead of everyone else in their town.
That was the name of the revue being staged by members of CADS, otherwise known as Charlbury Amateur Dramatic Society, in 1989.
Sadly, we don’t know the names of the five above who linked with the rest of the cast for a dress rehearsal before staging two performances at the Memorial Hall.

Jay Miller, co-director with Pam Bradley, said: “It’s something old, something new, with plenty of sketches and songs.”
Charlbury’s own jazz band, the Alan Fraser Trio, also took part in the performances.
CADS is still going strong and is always looking for new members.
