A tech specialist has teamed up with Formula Student to offer 'massive opportunities.'
YASA, a tech company, will provide up to 10 slots in its placement programme for Formula Student participants.
The placements, starting in July 2025, will be either three or 12 months long.
Students securing a year-long placement will move to the new HQ building at The Ranges, Bicester Motion.
This is a familiar location for many Formula Student participants, as it is the test track for Oxford Brookes, Warwick, Queen Mary’s, and University of Oxford.
Simon Odling, YASA's chief of new technology, said: "We’re thrilled to be involved with next year’s event, and we can’t wait to meet the talented young engineers who could be the future of YASA, joining our exceptional engineering placement programmes in 2025.
"Formula Student holds a special place in my heart – it’s a competition that has shaped the careers of so many engineers, myself included, in the automotive and motorsport industries."
The placements will cover all areas of YASA's work, including development, design, testing, manufacturing, and innovation.
Some placements are already available for students.
The full list can be found on the YASA careers website.
Formula Student is a competition that sees university students from around the world design, build, and race single-seater cars.
