Chiltern Railways has asked customers to check their journeys this weekend.
The rail company said that a combination of London Underground industrial action, engineering works, and operational challenges caused by ongoing fuelling issues will affect services on Friday, November 1, Saturday, November 2, and Sunday, November 3.
HS2 viaduct works near Wendover are taking place this weekend, and engineering works at London Paddington on Sunday will mean Chiltern services between London Marylebone and Oxford are likely to be busier than usual.
Michael Stewart, commercial and customer strategy director at Chiltern Railways, said: "I strongly encourage customers to check their journeys on the day of travelling this week as journey planners may not be updated until late in the evening on the previous day.
"Services on certain routes may be subject to disruption and I would like to thank passengers for their understanding ahead of the weekend."
Customers are advised to plan ahead and check their journeys, including on the day of travel.
More information on travel updates can be viewed on the Chiltern Railways website, and details on the London Underground industrial action can be viewed on the Transport for London website.
