A children's nursery has been rated 'good' following a visit from Ofsted inspectors.
The Old Station Nursery Oxford, in Oxford Science Park, was given the rating following the recent inspection.
The nursery provides full-time and part-time care for children aged 0 to 5 all year round.
Inspectors found that 'children have a positive attitude to their learning and are adventurous and curious in their play.'
They also noted that 'staff have a good understanding of their curriculum and how children learn.'
The nursery offers a 'rich and varied selection of well-organised activities to encourage children to explore and build on what they already know.'
This helps children to make 'good progress.'
The purpose-built nursery provides a stimulating and safe environment, expanding children’s learning and curiosity through clubs, enhancements, and The Old Station Nursery’s curriculum, the Brighter Learning Approach.
These aim to enhance the EYFS, ensuring that all children develop a life-long love for learning.
Nursery manager Charlotte Dagg said: "This is a fantastic achievement for all of us here at The Old Station Nursery Oxford.
"The team’s dedication, skill, and drive to give all children in our care the best early education is inspiring to see as a manager."
The Old Station Nursery Group, named the ninth largest nursery group in the UK, cares for up to 5,355 children in 77 nurseries across the UK.
