The Banbury Victorian Christmas Market is set to return, ushering in the festive season with a blend of tradition and cheer.

Scheduled from November 22 to November 24, the three-day event promises to be a lively celebration of all things Christmas.

Organised by LSD Promotions in collaboration with Banbury BID, the market will be located at the Market Place in Banbury.

The event promises to transform the town centre into a bustling Christmas marketplace.

Attendees can expect more than 100 stalls offering a wide range of handmade gifts and festive treats.

The market will also feature street food, drinks, and a variety of entertainment acts to keep the festive spirit alive throughout the weekend.

A spokesperson from LSD Promotions said: "It’s wonderful to see the Banbury Victorian Christmas Market grow each year.

"This event brings people together, creates joyful moments, and supports our local traders.

"We’re excited to see Banbury come alive with Christmas spirit and to work alongside Banbury BID to make this year’s market the best one yet."

The market is free to attend and will be open from 12pm to 8pm on Friday, 10am to 8pm on Saturday, and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

The event will be infused with Victorian charm, featuring characters from the era, including a towering Stilt Man who will be present throughout the weekend.

Live music and dance performances will add to the festive atmosphere.

Friday's line-up includes performances by the School for Stars Dance Group, the NOA Drummers, and the Betal Brass Band.

Saturday will see the Hook Norton Brass Band, Joanne Mills Dance Group, and singer Olivia take to the stage, along with Pier Facepainting for those wanting to add a touch of sparkle to their day.

The Betal Brass Band will perform again, lending their music to a charitable cause.

The weekend will conclude with a performance by the Hook Norton Brass Band and a choral performance by the 5Ways Harmony Chorus Choir on Sunday.
