The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:
FAYE JAMES, 51, of Bates Lane, Soulder, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Porsche Macan on Bucknell Road, Bicester, on May 12. James was banned from driving for 12 months, but this can be reduced by three months if a course is completed by May 9 next year. She must also pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £174 and a fine of £434.
NIGEL CAMPBELL, 39, of Newhampton Road West, Wolverhampton, pleaded guilty to drug driving on the A34 at Islip on June 20 this year. He must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £32 and a fine of £80. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.
SIMON HILL, 56, of Compton Road, Banbury, pleaded guilty to driving a car on Hennef Way in Banbury on July 18 this year without a valid test certificate, without third party insurance and while under the influence of alcohol. He must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £120 and a fine of £300. He was also banned from driving for 23 months, which can be reduced by 23 weeks if a course is completed by February 1 2026.
KARA HARRIS, 26, of Cranbrook Drive, Kennington, pleaded guilty to drink driving on the Northern Bypass, Oxford, on April 14 this year. Harris must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £138 and a fine of £346. Harris was also banned from the road for 18 months, which can be reduced by 18 weeks if a course is completed by October 4 next year.
RYAN WILLETT, 28, of Overn Crescent, Buckingham, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Buckingham Road, Newton Purcell, on July 20 this year. He was banned from driving for 12 months, which can be reduced by three months if a course is completed by May 9 next year. He must also pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £104 and a fine of £261.
KANE JACKSON, 26, of Banbury Road, Bicester, pleaded guilty to drink and drug driving on Cowley Road, Oxford, on September 2. He was banned from driving for 12 months and must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £276 and a fine of £230.
JOHN THEARLE, 53, of Buckners Close, Benson, pleaded guilty to drink driving on September 1 in Wallingford. He was banned from driving for 14 months, but this can be reduced by 14 weeks if a course is completed by July 2 next year. He must also pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £320 and a fine of £800.
