The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

NICHOLAS BLACK, 43, of Wenman Road, Witney, pleaded guilty to assault by beating committed on December 17 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £114. He was also handed a 30-day community order 

WENQUAN GUO, 49, of Market Square, Bicester, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating committed on January 17 this year. Guo must pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114. 

CHARLIE HANCOCK, 20, of Bramley Crescent, Sonning Common, pleaded guilty to harassing a woman between January 8 and January 30 this year by sending messages via text, Facebook and Instagram. Hancock must pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114. Hancock was also handed a six-month community order and must complete 80 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. 

ROBBIE INGHAM, 32, of Brassey Close, Chipping Norton, pleaded guilty to two counts of resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty in Faringdon on March 20 this year. He must pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £26. He was also given a conditional discharge of six months. 

ANNA EGGLETON, 39, of Beech Lane, DIdcot, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating committed on March 10 this year. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £26. 

OLIVER SUMMERS, 43, of Thames View, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to causing damage to a property in Abingdon on March 28 this year. He damaged some wallpaper to the value of £25. Summers was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £26 and compensation of £25. 

CRAIG BALLANTYNE, 36, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to 24 counts of theft. Between March 28 and September 13 this year, he stole items including shower gel, coffee, tins of Spam, chocolate, sweets and meat from Sainsbury's, Asda, Iceland and the Co-Op in Oxford. The total value of the items taken was £2,157.60. He was jailed for 24 weeks. No surcharge was ordered. 

MARTINS SPAKS, 29, of Gillians Way, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drug driving a Honda 125 motorbike on Oxford Road, Littlemore, on June 12 this year. He was banned from driving for 12 months and must pay costs of £85 and a fine of £184. 

CHARLIE FOSTER, 23, of Lansdown Road, Faringdon, pleaded guilty to drug driving in  Lambourn on June 22 this year. Foster must pay a fine of £80 and was banned from the road for 12 months.
