The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:
MARTIN RUSSELL, 67, of Cedar Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using racist language and assault by beating on September 12 last year. He must pay costs of £200 and compensation of £500. He must also complete 80 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
BESJAN KARAJ, 26, of Field Avenue, Headington, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Witney on August 31 this year. He must pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £48 and a fine of £120. He was also banned from driving for 16 months, which can be reduced by 16 weeks if a course is completed by August 18 next year.
KARINA MCBEAN, 37, of Havill Crescent, Bloxham, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen when ordered to on February 3 last year. McBean must pay costs of £160, a victim surcharge of £160 and a fine of £400. McBean was also banned from the road for nine months.
AMY TRINDER, 38, of Medhurst Way, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drug driving on the A34 southbound on May 28 this year. She was banned from driving for 12 months and must pay costs of £85 and a fine of £200.
MAREK MAKOWSKI, 63, of Jordans Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Watlington Road on July 12. He must pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £154. He also received a 20-week custodial sentence, suspended for 18 months. He must also complete 150 hours of unpaid work within 12 months and has been banned from driving for seven years. He must also abstain from drinking any alcohol until January 6 next year.
JAMES MCKERAN, 57, of Causeway, Bicester, pleaded guilty to drug driving on Banbury Road on June 24 this year. He was banned from driving for 14 months.
DANIEL FLOWER, 30, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving and for not having a driving licence on Ermont Way on September 1 this year. He was banned from driving for 14 months which can be reduced by 14 weeks if a course is completed by January 7 next year. He must also pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £80 and a fine of £200.
MICHAEL SESTANOVICH, 42, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to using a bank card which did not belong to him to buy goods valued at £133.77. He was jailed for 12 weeks.
