Emergency services responded to a "fear for welfare" related incident in Oxford this morning (October 30), police have confirmed.
Police cars and fire engines were seen on Hollow Way, Cowley, just before 8am.
Cars were stopped from going through and pedestrians were turned away.
An ambulance was also spotted nearby on Hopkins Court.

Thames Valley Police later confirmed the incident related to a "fear for welfare" for a man in his 50s.
The force issued a statement just before noon which confirmed this has been "safely resolved".
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue said the fire service was called out at 7.47am to the "police-led incident".
Two crews attended in total, one from Slade Fire Station and one from Rewley Road Fire Station. Crews left the scene at 8.10am.
