Jeremy Clarkson has advised fans to avoid James May’s alcohol in favour of his own.
The pair have presented popular shows Top Gear and The Grand Tour together along with co-star Richard Hammond for 22 years but called time together professionally last month.
In their separate business ventures, both Mr Clarkson and Mr May own pubs in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire respectively.
They also both own alcohol brands with the 64-year-old’s Hawkstone supplying a variety of drinks including lager, pilsner, stout, cider, vodka and gin.

It’s great you’re supporting the other bloke but we do gin as well and it’s fabulous.

Gin is the choice of 61-year-old Mr May too as he has his own brand of the spirit called James Gin which Mr Clarkson has now waved fans away from in order to try his Hawksdtone equivalent.
A fan mentioned Mr Clarkson in a post on X, formerly Twitter, and said: “The same day the news of your heart op broke, my case of Hawkstone arrived.
“So here’s to your new stent and my inevitable one in a few year's time.
“I also caved in and got some gin off the other bloke because he doesn’t stop going on about it.
“All the best.”
