A major Oxfordshire road will be shut for close to two weeks.
Whitelands Way in Bicester was closed earlier today (Monday, October 28) for resurfacing works with motorists forced to find alternative routes.
The closure is expected to last for over 11 days with the road not set to reopen until next week on Friday, November 8.
Buses are also being affected by the works with services being rerouted while the key road is resurfaced.

A statement from Stagecoach on Monday said: “Whitelands Way will be closed for resurfacing.
“The 26 will be on diversion and unable to service Whitelands Way North or Kingsmere Centre bus stops.
“Use Chepstow Drive or a temporary bus stop near the junction of Whitelands Way and Pioneer Way.
“This diversion will continue until next Friday.”
