RAF Brize Norton recently hosted a memorable experience for 120 Royal Air Force Air Cadets and adult volunteers.
The group, who visited on Wednesday, October 23, had the opportunity to fly on an Atlas C.1 with LXX Squadron.
They also received a brief from the base’s careers officer and enjoyed a range of activities with the base's STEM ambassadors.
The static village offered hands-on experiences with modern frontline equipment and interactions with personnel from various RAF departments, including the medical services, RAF Police and firefighters.
In the static village, they were able to see the Globemaster (C17) and Atlas aircraft, II Squadron RAF Regiment and met the station commander and station warrant officer.
The event was hosted by the Air Cadet Liaison Team.
