Bonfire night is upon us, so the season is here to seek out the best firework display in your area and warm up in front of a bonfire.
The annual Guy Fawkes night celebrations are a favourite for many of us, especially cosy in the chilly autumn weather.
With a long list of community, charity, council and private events to choose from, taking place from tomorrow (October 26) to mid-November. We decided to round up a list of all the events in Oxfordshire.

Weston-on-the-Green fireworks display Saturday November 26

Annual village fireworks display and bonfire at the playing field, with burger and fish and chips vans.
Ducklington Fireworks Spectacular Saturday November 26
Ducklington showground, Witney, OX29 7YE (free parking)
Gates: 4pm-9pm
Tickets: Adults (16+) £8.50 (£10 on the gate), children (5+) £4 (£5 on the gate), children under five go free. Tickets available online or on the gate
Featuring fireworks and a bonfire, fairground attractions including rides and activities, food and drink and market stalls.
Witney Lakes Resort Fireworks Display Friday November 1
Witney Lakes Resort, Downs Road, Witney, OX29 0SY (parking can be bought online)
Gates: 6pm-10pm
Tickets: Family ticket (two adults and two children) £32, adult £13.50, child £6, children under three go free. Get tickets online
Including entertainment, fireworks and food from local vendors.
Cholsey Bonfire Night Friday November 1
Cricket Field, Cholsey Meadows, Oxfordshire, OX10 9GW
Gates: 6pm-8pm, display at 7.30pm
Tickets: free, donations encouraged
A free community event with a BBQ from Cholsey Cricket Club, plus hot drinks, sparklers and glow sticks for sale.

Grove Fireworks and Bonfire Friday November 1
Recreation Ground, Cane Lane, Grove, Wantage, OX12 0FL
Gates: 6.30pm-10pm
Tickets: Individuals £5 (age three plus), families £15 (up to 5 people)
Fun to be had includes a bar, music, funfair and BBQ, as well as the bonfire and fireworks.
Oxford Round Table 56th Annual Charity Fireworks Saturday November 2
South Park, Oxford, OX3 0HS
Gates: 4.30pm-9.30pm (fireworks at 7.15pm)
Tickets: Adult £10, child (over five) £5, student and over 65’s £8, super family tent £18
A huge annual event from Oxford Round Table which has raised over £1m since it began in 1967. Featuring a fireworks display, a GetRadio soundstage with entertainment from local ats, a bar and a funfair.
Wallingford Bonfire and Fireworks Display,Saturday November 2
South Park, Kinecroft, Oxford, OX3 0HS
Gates: 6pm-9pm
Tickets: Free, donations welcome
Complete with a “pyromusical” display, Wallingford 1155 organises an annual event which raises funds to give back to the town.
Chalbury Cricket Club Fireworks Night, Saturday November 2
Charlbury Cricket Club, Dyers Hill, Charlbury, Chipping Norton, OX7 3QG (parking available at Charlbury Station)
Gates: 5.15pm-10.30pm
Tickets: Ault £10, child (under 16) £1, family ticket (two adults and up to three children) £20. Purchase online or on the gate.
Charlbury Cricket Club is offering an inclusive event with a lower noise display at 6pm, followed by the main display at 7pm. The club bar will be open with drinks and hot food.

Bicester Round Table Fireworks, Saturday November 2

A charity event with fireworks, bonfire and refreshments.
2nd Abingdon Scout Group Fireworks Display, Saturday November 2

Little Milton Fireworks Night, Saturday November 2

Gates: 6pm-9pm
Tickets: Adults £5, children (over 12) £3, tickets available at the Little Milton village shop or at the gate.
The annual village fireworks display will have music, hot soup, hot dogs, and hot wine.
Didcot Football Club Fireworks, Sunday November 3

Tickets: Adults £8 (£10 on the gate), children £4 (£5 on the gate), under-fives free
With a fairground open at 4pm, a bonfire at 6pm, fireworks from 7.30pm and food, drink, and toys available to buy, this promises to be a fun afternoon.
Barrack’s Lane Festival of Fire and Light, Sunday November 3

Tickets: free (donations for some activities)
This event offers some unique activities like making your own lantern, cooking pumpkin soup over an open fire, story-telling sessions and pizza making.
Standlake Arena Big Bang Bonfire and Firework Meeting
Standlake Arena, Witney OX29 7PR
Gates: 8am, first race 11am, fireworks dependent on races runtime
Tickets; Adults £18/£10 after 4pm, children £12/£5 after 4pm, under 10s free, family £50/£25 after 4pm (payment on arrival only)
A full day of racing on the Standlake Arena track will be followed by a bonfire and a “Big Bang Firework Spectacular”, which is claiming to be the loudest firework show around.
Berinsfield’s Community Fireworks Display, Sunday November 3
Berry Youth Centre, Green Furlong, Berinsfield, Wallingford, OX10 7NR
Gates: 4pm-8pm (fireworks 7pm)
Tickets: free
A free community event featuring fireworks, funfair and food, where donations will be welcomed to go towards Berry Youth Centre.
Bicester Gold Hotel Fireworks Display, Sunday November 3

Gates: 5pm, fireworks from 7pm
Tickets: £5 online (£10 on the gate), under-fives free
A range of food and drinks from the hotel will accompany the fireworks display.
North Leigh Football Club, Sunday November 3

Tickets: Single £6, family (two adults, two children) £15, under-fives free
The football club will be hosting a fireworks display with food, drinks and music on offer.
Bodicote Fireworks Night, Tuesday November 5

Featuring fireworks, food and fairground attractions on Bonfire Night itself.
Kidlington Fireworks

Gates: 6pm (fireworks at 7pm)
Tickets: Adults £6, children £4 (£1 discount if bought in advance from Exeter Hall)
This is a low noise and environmentally friendly event organised by Kidlington Parish Council, with a BBQ from Gosford All Blacks, a bar, fair rides and stalls.

Hanborough Musical Fireworks, Friday November 8

With fairground rides, a BBQ, mulled wine and fireworks.
Abingdon Bonfire and Fireworks, Saturday November 9
Abingdon Airfield, Barrow Road, Shippon, OX13 6JQ
Gates: 3pm-9pm
Tickets: Adult £17.50, child (under 15) £8.90, under-threes free, family (two adults, two children) £48.68
Abingdon Bonfire and Fireworks is offering an explosive night of entertainment, which they claim is the biggest display in the UK. It includes a fairground, monster truck rides, food and drink and a jet-powered van.
Thame Fireworks Display, Saturday November 9
Chinnor Ruggby club, Kingsey Road, Thame, Oxfordshire OX9 3JL
Gates: 2.30pm (fireworks at 6.30pm)
Tickets: adults £7.50, children £4.50 (under-fives free)
This event’s fireworks, music, entertainment and food and drink stalls will help raise money to support the three Thame primary schools that organised it – St Joseph’s, John Hampden and Barley Hill.
Yarnton Fireworks, Saturday November 16

Gates: 5.30pm-8pm
