A baker from Reading has been praised on a Channel 4 baking show for her replica of Oxford University’s Museum of Natural History.
Emma, who lives in Reading, spent 64 hours replicating the Oxfordshire building in a cake form.
The baker used 4,860 hand-carved fondant bricks to put the piece together which she did for her long-time mentor.

Her bake was then praised on Channel 4’s The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice.
The show consists of a panel of judges who discuss behind-the-scenes moments and the performance of home bakers in The Great British Bake Off who compete against each other to win the title of Britain's best amateur baker.
Jo Brand, who hosts the extra show, commented on Emma’s bake: “It includes 4, 860 hand carved fondant bricks…and one dislocated finger.
“To be clear, Emma dislocated her finger while making it she hasn’t used one for decoration.”
Emma has since been praised online for her bake, with one X user commenting: “It’s perfect. I hope it’s full of dinosaurs too.”
