A town's mayor attended an annual Apple Day event last weekend.
Langford Community Orchard Group hosted the event in Bicester on Sunday, October 20, with Damien Maguire, the town's mayor in attendance.
Visitors enjoyed apple pressing demonstrations, with freshly pressed juice available to try, and were encouraged to bring their own apples to press.
The event also featured stalls selling cakes, plants, and bric-a-brac, as well as games and stands from community groups.

Organised to celebrate the apple harvest, it will also give visitors the chance to walk around the orchard and chat to volunteers,
Angela Turner, chair of Langford Community Orchard, said: "We would like to thank everyone who attended and enjoyed Apple Day.
"When the mayor arrived, the rain was heavy and the gusts of wind strong but then passed into a dry, bright afternoon encouraging people to visit us and watch the apple-pressing process, some bringing their own apples to taste as fresh juice with cakes and plants for sale.

"We had comments of ‘we love Apple Day’ and ‘the fresh apple juice tastes so much better than bought'."
This year there were some additions to the orchard, with some painted, wooden stepping stones in the path of the bluebell wood and some crafted ‘animals’ laying around.
Langford Community Orchard is Bicester’s first community orchard. The group meets on the first and third Sunday of the month from 10.30am until 12.30pm
