A city centre bar in Oxford which serves cocktails has been temporarily closed for a makeover.
Turtle Bay on Friar’s Entry near Gloucester Green shut at the weekend ahead of renovations which will last most of this week.
The bar is part of a Caribbean chain which has more than 50 venues across the UK serving a variety of meals and cocktails as well as combing the two for their popular Bottomless Brunch.
It is expected that the popular restaurant will reopen at 5pm this Friday (October 25).

An email was sent out to Turtle Bay’s Oxford customers on Sunday which said: “We’re getting a makeover.
“Just a heads up that Turtle Bay Oxford will be closed for a facelift from 5pm today.
“We’ll reopen at 5pm on Friday, October 25.
“We can’t wait for you to see our new look. Book your table now to be the first to check it out.”
This will be the second makeover the bar in Oxford has received this year with its exterior being altered back in April.

The outdoor booths were sheltered with a new roof and a fresh lick of paint while lights were also installed inside for ambience.
General manager David Harrison at the time said: “We have had some lights put inside the booths to brighten them up along with more paint.
“Customers are really enjoying it because they can obviously sit outside for more Al Fresco dining and it's covered now so they're no longer wet.”
