Police in Oxfordshire inadvertently caught a wanted man and arrested him for two separate offences.
Officers stopped a vehicle on the M40 near Junction 8A on Friday night and found that the driver tested positive on a drugs wipe for Cannabis.
Thames Valley Police arrested the motorist but then realised that the suspect also happened to be wanted.
The force then further arrested the driver and took him to police custody where he remains.
