Firefighters were called to a residential street near Oxford city centre.
A fire engine was spotted on Magdalen Road off Cowley by a member of the public at around 4pm today Saturday, October 19.
Firefighters could be seen holding tools at the scene and walking up and down the road but no flames or smoke was witnessed.
"I saw this just as it was finishing at the last minute," they said.
