The reason why police cars and an ambulance flocked to an Oxford street has been revealed.
Several Thames Valley Police cars including undercover vehicles as well as an ambulance arrived at the mini roundabout between Hollow Way, The Slade and Horspath Driftway on Wednesday night.
Officers say that they were contacted by the ambulance service over a fear for welfare incident initially at around 6.30pm.
The emergency vehicles could still be seen at the site at around 9pm with the incident happening close to The Corner House pub.
