The police photograph of a man jailed for sexually abusing a teen girl after giving her drugs has been released.

Stuart Crawford, of Market End Way in Bicester, was found guilty after a trial at Oxford Crown Court in August of three counts – three counts of sexual activity with a child and offering to supply a Class A drug, namely cocaine.

The 42-year-old assaulted a 14-year-old girl on October 22, 2022, outside The Ashton Club in Sheep Street after she had asked if he had drugs.

After his sentencing, his police photograph was released along with a statement from investigating officer, Detective Constable Gareth Steward, who said: “The victim in this case has shown incredible strength and resilience to come forward and report the abuse and I would like to thank her for her patience whilst awaiting justice.

“I am pleased that a custodial sentence has been imposed against this perpetrator reflecting the abhorrent offences he committed against a child.
