The 15-acre site in the Chilterns AONB is owned by the Forestry Commission and managed by the Trust.
Posting on X, the Trust said: "We regret that due to a recent dog attack on the sheep at Homefield Wood, we have taken the decision to close the permissive footpath and remove public access to the areas where the sheep are grazing on this site."
The National Sheep Association (NSA) says livestock worrying includes attacking or chasing sheep and, in some circumstances, farmers are legally entitled to shoot dogs if they are endangering their sheep.
