An inquest has opened into the death of a retired teacher.
Mary Hitt, 82, was a retired teacher who resided in Churchfield Lane, Benson, Wallingford.
She died at her home address on October 9 where she was receiving end of life care after being diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2021. Her death was verified by a registered nurse.

The circumstances surrounding her death are currently unknown.
An inquest was opened into his death at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Thursday (October 17).
Her medical cause of death has been provided as lower respiratory tract infection and mesothelioma.
Assistant coroner Nicholas Graham has set a date for a full inquest to take place at the same court on November 1 at 10.30am.
